Bluetooth and Location Settings
It is very important that you have the correct setting enabled on your device to ensure that the triggers work as expected on your approach to and arrival at your chosen venue. Please review the below instructions which will help you setup correctly.
In order for venues to know that you have arrived at their entrance, you need to enable Bluetooth on your phone.
You can either do that through the shortcuts in your phone or in the phone settings.
Sharing your location with Welcome ensures that venues know that you are approaching.
This allows them to make sure that your requirements will be met upon arrival.
If you have an iOS device, please ensure that you select 'Always' when asked if Welcome can see your location.
To check whether you have given the right permission, go to your phone settings, scroll down and click 'Welcome'. Click 'Location' and make sure 'Always' is ticked.
If you have an Android device, please ensure that you allow access to this devices location.
